Here are the original rules we all agreed on:
1. Always pay attention and keep your cool about what people do in the roleplay.
- If you think someone has done something you think is unfair to your character, just say "Hey, I dont think this is right," or "could this happen later or in another way?".
2. Do not try to "kill" a character without giving it's user a chance to save it.
3. Play fair,
- Dont use high-tech, screw with the time-line, or do anything considered cheating *something you wouldnt want to happen to you*
4. If someone says they REALLY dont want to be attacked that day, please respect that wish and dont attack them.
5. The Ace in the Hole rule still stands. One person may have one or two characters per faction with ONE unblockable ability, but it cannot be used every 5 minutes.
6. Clones are allowed if they are for simple scouting missions or last resort (Star Wars type clones). Clones of rp characters may only be made if the person controling the clone target agrees.
7. The most powerful character may be the ONLY one per person and can be any character they choose, but once you make the choise, it cant be changed, UNLESS your most powerful is down for some reason.
There are apparently misunderstandings about ranks. (Wow, right?)
Leaders win against leaders. Anyone lower gets his can kicked or majorly damaged.
2nd in commands win against 2nd commands and lower. They CANNOT beat leaders.
Other troops win/hold their own against other troops. Everyone above beats them or gets seriously damaged.
In other words: You CAN have more than one winner, just in THAT category or lower.
DO NOT create back stories for characters that are not yours unless you have the user's permission. If you do get permission, DO NOT lie or make up anything false about them.
Rule two must not be clear enough. Do not make something happen to a character that will "knock it out" or cut it out of rp for the rest of a fight or periods of days unless that character's owner agrees.
Rule three I dont think I can make any clearer. DONT have any high-tech you dont want stolen. If you REALLY want high-tech, you'd better be prepared for someone to get something similar to match its power.
No one may STEAL or RIP-OFF another person's tech/abilities without the original owner's permission.
DO NOT mess with the timeline just because you dont want something to happen to your character or tech. Stick with the rules.
If you do something to someone's character that they find is not fair (forcing knock out or unhealable injuries) then be prepared for that person to do the same for you and you WILL NOT be allowed to block it.
Same goes for any kind of pranks. You play a prank on one guy, then they can do the same to one of your guys; no "If's", "ands" or "buts" about it.
You CAN NOT have your character be a god and say "Well, my guy is too strong for yours" or "You have to catch him asleep". The only fair way I see to solve this one is have ONLY ONE really strong person per user that can fight against the other users' really strong persons.
If at any point someone breaks these rules, tell them that they broke a rule FIRST. If they continue, simply stop rping.
If they try to continue BS after you've stopped, go to another stream and tell me if I'm not online.
**Well, now there is a problem with Magic.
NO Anti-magic crap. ADAPT!
NO 'Magic beats all' crap either.
The two who have problems over this need to learn to take hits. I am not naming names, but if they REALLY did take hits, this problem may not have been brought up.
Leaving the room when I tried to solve this didnt help either. Just let me speak and offer solutions insted of simply leaving. That DOESN'T HELP AT ALL.**[/b]
I think this explains and covers the rules now.
If you feel one or more of this rules are unfair or needs more modification, please speak up in the stream because apparently there is ALWAYS room for modification.
