Flail was critkile ingerd and requseded to be left behind to cover Dark Convoys retreat to all knolege he was cart in the explouchion of Dark unicrons destruchion.
Flails Dead body was retreavied many years later and put into storeg till he could be recativated. Flail was one of the 10 who were bort back on line when Dark Convoy went back in time to Cybertron befor it was destoried and used the Super Energon pool to recativat. Flail first battile in the light universes was on Talix Prime where he carried Black Knight into battile befor Black Knight was knocked off him wilst Black Knight was fiting The Combatcon Commder Flail got into the thick of the battile and slorters over 2000 clones with his Energon Chains.
